Description: 1854-55 Woodblocks 6d 'TOO LATE' lilac & green SG 33, margins good to large, ironed-out vertical crease & filled thins, unused, Cat £1800. RPSofV Certificate (2012). [This is the largest unused example we have offered] ̃̃Victoria was the first "country" anywhere in the world to issue Late Fee and Registration Stamps. Both stamps were printed from the same keyplate, as proven by the existence of the tiny 'ONE SHILLING' & 'REGISTERED' to the left & right respectively of the point of the Queen's neck on both stamps.
