Description: 1939-44 group with rare censor cachets comprising emergency usage of World War I octagons '.../2488' on PPC, '.../2405' on C&W telegram, spaced 'P--ASSED/P.259' on PPC from Tunisia, '__W.22' (with 'P') removed) on Forces cover from Canada; Number Excised cancelling PPC from Belgium; similar types with Large Crown '.../50.' & '.../P.71.' on PPCs and '.../T.2.' - stated to be "unique" - on cover; heavily truncated 'No. 3400/CENSOR' on PPC from Italy; and double-circle 'POSTAL CENSORSHIP/AIR MAIL/LONDON' (stated to be the only recorded example) in red on long OHMS cover; plus 'CENSOR OFFICE/27OC/41/BELFAST' steel cds on reverse of 2d Envelope uprated with 6d for express service (cds & white/red 'EX' label both partly obscured).
