Description: ONE PENNY: V/Crown Mixed Perfs 1d horizontal pair Perf 12.4x12.2, the vertical perfs misplaced so Re-Perforated 11 at Left & Between and with Official Paper-Strip Repairs BW #W10 (unlisted by Gibbons), separated along a scissor-cut between the units & rejoined, Northam duplex cancel of MR3/03. Unpriced in the ACSC. An exceptional rarity of the Commonwealth Period. [The ACSC states "The only example which can be traced is a used stamp in the Bromfield Collection in the WA Museum. It is punctured 'WA' and shows the Mixed Perfs at the base"]
