Description: SIX PENCE - IMPERFORATE: 6d golden-bronze SG 17 with obvious metallic lustre, margins good to large - except at the top where just touching - with a fragment of the adjoining unit at left, a couple of very minor tonespots, void grid cancel, Cat £2000. Ex Frank Chadwick (Lot 2224). Bernard et Pascal Behr Certificate (2006). ̃̃Dr Cecil Walkley distinguished this issue on the basis of the presence - SG 17, 18 & 22 - or absence - SG 19 & 23 - of microscopic metallic particles.
