Description: TRAVELLING POST OFFICES:Range of 1870s-1900s covers, stationery and picture postcards, mostly used as cancellers but also some transits, some duplication in places, noted 'UP TRAIN/MG7' on PO 'Registered Letters ...' form with '.../MG2' d/s alongside proving connection between these two services, '.../MG8' on Solicitor-General Frank Stamp circular, various octagonal 'DOWN TRAIN' types including 'MG2' (R), 'MG3' (RR), 'GM4' error (RRR) on cover with 2d Bell x2 tied 'TPO/4' obliterator, 'MG6' both types (RR and S), 'MG7' (RRRR), 'MG8' (RRR) and 'MG13' (RRRR), also 'ENGLISH MAIL TPO/IN' on 1908 British PPC, etc, quality of strikes and condition varies but many fine.
