Description: 1868 Prinsep cover to Dardanup with 2d chrome-yellow (corner fault) just tied by very fine 15-bar '7' with largely fine strike of the rare unframed-oval 'MINNINUP/("22.11.68")/=WESTERN-AUSTRALIA=' at U/L, Bunbury transit cds on the face. Not included in the Pope & Reynolds Census, where they record two earlier & three later covers only. [Dr Cecil Walkley's 1877 cover with very fine strike of the h/s sold for $3961]
