Description: 1879 stampless official cover to "The Postmaster/Berlin/Prussia" with very fine strikes of 'PERTH/SP11/ WESTERN AUSTRALIA' cds & '[crown]/PAID' h/s plus very late usage of the 1850s undated 'GENERAL POST OFFICE/ [crown]/PERTH/WESTERN AUSTRALIA' h/s at lower-left, boxed 'HOF-LEIPZIG' b/s, soiling on the face. Very unusual item to a scarce destination. Ex John Forrest: sold at the Prestige auction of 14.8.2010 for $1048.
