Swedish 1907 (Oct) commercial cover to Sweden with GB KEVII 2d tied by light double-circle 'FALKLAND/ISLANDS' cds, fair strike of the rare underlined 'PAQUEBOT' h/s (Hosking #2676) alongside and at left an exceptional strike of the rare 'SWEDISH/MAGELLANIAN/ EXPEDITION/1907-1909' h/s in violet, printed PSNC & flag on the flap, 'UPSALA' arrival b/s. The only recorded Falklands cover from this Expedition. [Regarding the paquebot h/s, Hosking states "Pre-1940 dates merit a substantial premium".
