Small mostly mint study of the 1907-10 Small 'PAPUA' & 1910 Large 'PAPUA' issues with many blocks of 4 to 1/- including annotated varieties, also 2/6d perf 'OS' block of 4 CTO and Airmails including Harrison 3d SG 113, condition a bit mixed. Ex Yardley.
Collection remainders with a few BNG, Small 'Papua' Overprints to 2/6d (2), Monocolours & Surcharges, Bicolours plus 'OS' Overprints, Pictorials to 10/-, Commemoratives & Airs etc, condition variable.
Selection in sealed packets etc with Large 'Papua' Overprints blocks of 4 to 6d, Surcharges blocks of 4, Bicolour 9d & 1/3d blocks of 4, Jubilee imprint blocks including Apostrophe varieties, 1939-41 Airmails imprint blocks etc, condition variable.
Album with BNG to 1/- (**) mint including Thin Paper 2d & 4d & to 1/- used, Large 'Papua' 6d used, Small 'Papua' to 1/- mint, Lithos to 2/6d mint or used, Monocolours mint & used, Bicolours including 10/- (toned), Pictorials to 5/- mint & to £1 used, later issues complete mint & used, 'OS' Overprints mint etc, condition is rather mixed but with many fine to very fine stamps including better items, STC £2900+.
1901-05 British New Guinea Watermark Horizontal (mostly) ½d to 2/6d SG 1-8, various cancellations, Cat £600.

1906 Large 'Papua' Overprint Thin Paper ½d to 2½d and Thick Paper 4d to 2/6d SG17-24, Cat £400+.
1916-31 Bicolours 10/- green & grey-blue SG 105, one insignificant toned perf-tip, Cat £140. [This is the normal "pale ultramarine" shade]
1916-31 Bicolours 10/- green & dull ultramarine SG 105, Port Moresby cds, Cat £160. [This is an unusually bright shade of blue]
1930 Aeroplane Overprints Harrison Printing 3d sepia-black & bright blue-green SG 115 marginal example from right of the sheet, endorsed in the margin "Harrison/obtained/from/JGSpychiger/Port Moresby/7.4.33", very lightly mounted, Cat £1600. [Only two sheets of 40 were issued. Local philatelist Spychiger bought both sheets, one of which he sold to Stanley Gibbons]
