1905-12 Crown/A Irregular Compound Perfs 9d red-orange with the Watermark Upright (Inverted) Perf 12½x12½x11x12½, light 'P.P.' (Parcel Post) cds of Perth. A major rarity, unlisted in the ACSC and unpriced in Gibbons. [The ACSC records a similarly perforated stamp but the watermark is sideways, and it's in the Western Australian Museum]

1912 Crown/A 1/- sage-green Perf 12½ ACSC #W57 (SG 169a), a few characteristic short/pulled perfs, previously unrecorded '[TELEGRAPH]S/17JL12/FREMANTLE' cds (two-letter month), Cat $1500 (£2500). An underrated rarity. Ex HAV Bulleid & 'Tamiami'. RPSofL Certificate (1982). [The ACSC states "At least five examples can be confirmed...one is in the Western Australian Museum". This stamp is not included in the identified examples] ** Arthur Tilby has advised that fifteen examples are now known, one in the WA Museum and one in the Royal Collection. That's still not a lot of examples in private hands so we have left the estimate and reserve untouched **

FORGERIES: Attractive annotated group with Imperf 1d black x3, 4d blue x3 (one with the Inverted Frame) & 1/- brown x2, Hillman 2d x2 (one with 'TVO' Variety!) & 6d x4 (one apparently a 'golden-bronze' with 1934 certificate as a forgery), 1861 6d sage-green, perforated 4d carmine, 6d purple & 6d purple/blue, 'ONE PENNY' forged overprint on 2d yellow x2, plus a group by Spiro and others.
