Mostly Captain Robert Falcon Scott group comprising Rotary Portraits of Scott & Shackleton and the "Terra Nova" with inset portrait, "The Discovery with her Remington [typewriter] on board", Herbert Ponting "A Meal on the March" & "The Glad Eye" (penguin), also "Farthest South, Queen's Flag Hoisted" & "The Return of the Southern Party" (toning on address side), and "A British Hero" mourning card, generally fine to very fine & all unused; also 1905 French card of "Le Francais Expédition Charcot au Pole Sud" (soiled, and stamp removed). ARCTIC: 1897 German Rosenblatt (Frankfurt) "Instalment Cards" complete set of 4 chromolithographs for 'FRIDTJOF NANSEN/NORD POLAR-EXPEDITION' with a central Arctic Map which has been festooned with signatures, all posted at 'HANNOVER' between 26.11.97 and 6.12.97. A rare "puzzle set". Ex Keith Harrison.
ARCTIC: 1898 Norwegian Mallings card of the "Fram" in ice plus 13 tiny portraits of Fridtjof Nansen & his crew, reinforced corner at lower-right, from 'BERGEN' to Austria. Ex Bronte Watts.
