ENTERTAINMENT: Large album of mostly Australian Actors & Actresses with numerous studio portraits including elaborate theatre costumes plus extravagant Edwardian dresses & hats, plus "stills" from stage productions, some Singers noted - a couple of overseas visitors - including four gorgeous Art Nouveau cards of Blanche Arral, some facsimile signatures, a few advertising cards for local productions & FS Pacey (Sydney) movie stills from the 1912 film "From the Manger to the Cross" x2, Talma is the major producer but others noted, condition variable but many are fine to very fine. By far the most extensive such Australian collection we have seen. Ex Shirley Jones.
ENTERTAINMENT: Group of mostly Talma cards plus a few Falks & others of actors & acresses - several of the delightfully named Tittell Brune - plus Madame Melba and JC Williamson, several of Art Nouveau types including with gold backgrounds, also a few "stills" including the cringeworthy "There's a New Coon in Town" & "The Golliwoggs", condition variable but most are good to fine used or unused. A very scarce group.

HUMOUR: Entertaining selection including Bulletin cards "Bridget Fixed Him" by Hop & "I was up to see Bill at the Orsepital..." by Tom Durkin, "110 in the shade" - 3 fatigued fairies - by Ida S Rentoul (Outhwaite), others by Fred Booty, Hal Gye etc, also Collis (Sydney) x10 including "Military Terms" x4, a nasty photo of two children holding a Chinaman's pigtail "I Can a Tail Unfold", etc, condition variable but most are good to very fine used or unused. A very scarce group.
MILITARY: Naval group including 1908 Visit of the American Fleet x34 with some better types, "Submarine AE2", three "Emden"-related cards, etc, generally fine to very fine used or unused.
MILITARY: 1920s real photo navy cards mostly from HMAS "Adelaide" including visits to Rabaul, Misima, Noumea, Vila etc, many with captions on the address side otherwise mostly fine to very fine unused.
MILITARY: WORLD WAR I: Dardenelles Campaign/Gallipoli group with "Scenes of Anzac" x3, real photo "Bomb Proof Shelter at Anzac, Gallipoli", handdrawn "...from/Gallipoli/Christmas/1915" & two modern reproductions; also Le Deley "Aux Dardenelles/In the Dardenelles" x7 with French/English captions; generally very fine unused.
MILITARY: "Railway Station Perth" with very fine 'HMAHS Kanowna' (Hospital Ship) cachet in violet, seven cards from Egypt with various cachets, generally fine; and New Guinea "Similar Medicine being served out to the Germans who flogged Rev Dr Cox at Rabaul. More power to the operator Corp DD Fenton D Company", a few blemishes, used under cover with brief note from an eye-witness on reverse,
MILITARY: New South Wales real photos of Military Camps at Kiama x3 & "Area Officers' Camp Albury...", unused. Very scarce.
MILITARY: Queensland real photos of Military Camps at Newtown Park Toowoomba, unused. Very scarce.
MILITARY: WORLD WAR II: 1941 Seven Dwarfs series of real photos of cartoons of the individual dwarfs in naval garb notably with 'AUSTRALIA' on the hat-bands, an extra & different Dopey (boxed 'PASSED BY CENSOR/NOT/FOR PUBLICATION' cachet on the reverse) and composite of all the dwarfs in a rowboat, most of the originals signed "B Andersen", unused. Not previously seen by us.

SPORT SPEEDBOAT RACING: 1910 two different real photo "Champion Motor Boat Fairbanks" with caption on the reverse for "...the fastest boat in the world", a few blemishes, postally used (one sent under cover).
