1901 Melbourne DLO Returned Letter containing a cover sent to a Boer War trooper and marked "Deceased", 1934 "Back to Wonthaggi" illustrated envelope, 1937 with 6d Large Kooka, Wunderlich "Durabestos" advertising cover, 1948 with 'NORTHCOTE/POST OFFICE' oval d/s in violet, etc. (Qty Qty)
1901 unused envelope with very fine 'GOVERNOR-GENERAL/[arms]/FRANK STAMP/AUSTRALIA' h/s in blue & embossed arms in blue on the flap. The only unused envelope we have seen.

1918 commercial covers to the Red Cross in Switzerland or to Chile both with Third Wmk 2½d Roo, the latter with very fine 'PASSED BY/4TH MD/CENSOR' h/s in violet, minor blemishes. (Qty 2)

1919 cover to USA with Third Wmk 6d blue (small fault) tied by 'KAPUNDA' (SA) cds, straight-line h/s on Victorian-type registration label, endorsed "Permit No 11" (export permit??), US 'REGISTERED' h/s in purple.
1920 entire OHMS printed lettersheet with Rough Paper 1d red Die II perf 'OS' BW #7bb(1)f tied by Melbourne machine cancel, scarce '20 Posted' h/s required to qualify for concessional bulk posting rate. [Contains comparative statistics for births deaths & marriages in Victoria. Interesting document]
1920 flapless cover for Chamberlain Medicine Co with "The Whole Body Laughs" illustrated advert, KGV 2d orange & Sydney machine cancel.
1932 OHMS airmail cover 'PINE CREEK//N.T.' to Canberra with scarce franking of KGV 2d perf 'OS' & Kangaroo 6d optd 'OS' (Cat $450 on cover), Council for Scientific & Industrial Research imprint at lower-left, a few small repaired peripheral tears.
1933 commercial cover to Iraq with KGV 2d red tied by Geelong slogan cancel, 'REFUSED' & boxed bilingual 'RETURN TO SENDER' h/s both in violet, Baghdad 'UNPAID' & 'SOR' b/s plus boxed DLO d/s of Baghdad, Bombay & Madras, a couple of minor blemishes.
1934-36 KGV commemorative frankings on airmail covers comprising 1934 OHMS registered to Brisbane with Victoria Centenary 2d x2 & Perf 10½ 1/-, 1935 to England with 2/- Jubilee, 1936 to England with 1/- SA Centenary & 6d Large Kooka, and 1936 to Scotland with 2d Cable (6, including a strip of 4) & KGV 5d & 1d, condition variable. 1936 commercial quintuple-rate airmail cover to London with remarkable franking of KGV 2d x9 including a booklet pane of 6 (perfs trimmed at the top) plus No Wmk Hermes 1/6d x4 including a pair, minor blemishes.
1951 Brett & Peter Randall (Authors Representatives) small cover to United States with 3d Federation se-tenant block of 6 paying 1/6d airmail rate. Scarce franking.
1952 Angliss & Co small cover to India (Bombay b/s) with rare solo franking of 1/3d Bull paying the correct airmail rate, some tropicalisation.
1960s-1990s mostly commercial airmail covers & postcards to England with an array of frankings & many better values including 1/2d Thylacine, 2/3d Royal Visit, 2/3d Cable, 63c Living Together, 63c Christmas etc, condition a bit variable. (Qty 150 approx)
1960s-1990s another lot all with solo frankings - mostly commemoratives - and again including many better values especially on the 23 PPCs included. (Qty 100 approx)
1965 airmail to Germany sent at sextuple rate with 2/3d Wattle White Paper single & strip of 5 (one unit damaged) plus 1/- Colombo Plan pair added to pay the registration fee, slightly reduced.
1972 De Wolf Fletcher airmail cover to Germany with rare double-rate franking of 1972 Christmas 35c pair tied by Melbourne slogan cancel.
POSTAGE DUE: Scarce trio comprising 1) 1900 with NSW 1d pair tied by rare oval 'WINDSOR' d/s, folded through the stamps; 2) 1935 OHMS cover readdressed & re-registered with CofA Perf 11 2d & 4d, a bit knocked-about; & 3) 1939 philatelic from Canada with Perf 11 3d BW #D118 (Cat $300 on cover) tied by cds, very fine. [The 6d BW #D120 (SG D110) is rare on cover: Cat $2000]
