PALMERSTON NORTH: 1914 cover from Timaru to "Private DG Wallace/Mounted Field Ambulance/.../Expeditionary Camp/Palmerston North", minor blemishes. [We can find no record of a Camp at Palmerston North: Rangiotu to the south of Palmerston North was the closest. However, that facility was not opened until 1915. Curious!
