Collection in two Seven Seas hingeless albums with some KGVI Pictorials to £1 x2 & 1940 Postage Dues set (toning), then 1953-2007 issues virtually complete - ex the 1954 10/- & £1 and a few minor sets - including M/Ss, also a few booklets, some toning in the earlier issues then very fine unmounted.
1909 usage of Samoan PPC (pigs trussed for roasting) to Queensland with a very fine strike of the recently discovered 'SS SUVA FIJI' ship's handstamp above the message, KEVII 1d (defective) tied by Suva cds, minor aging. [The writer was Frederick Quelhurst, a seaman working on the "Suva", which traded mainly between Fiji & Australia]
Excepting New Zealand ship markings - most of which are common - ship handstamps from the Pacific Islands are very scarce, with many being great rarities.
