Aerogrammes: A single-volume study with formular types comprising 'NZ AIR MAIL/LETTER CARD' (6, one used 16NOV44 with typed "First Day Cover"), 'FIJI AIR MAIL/LETTER CARD' (5, one with a meter cancel), 'AEROGRAMME/FIJI' unused (rare) & used, & generic 'AIR LETTER' (4); then KGVI group including 3d to Australia & 7d to France, Holland, Australia & USA; QE 3d blue & 3d green both uprated to Australia, 8c to USA, plus unused, CTO & philatelically used items. Very scarce group. (Qty 62)
Aerogrammes: 1949 Three Lines at Upper-Left 3d blue to New Zealand with various redirections & finally returned as unknown, 'FIJI/ G [arms] R/FOUND OPEN' label.
Aerogrammes: 1949 Three Lines at Upper-Left 7d to Suva with 'PORT MORESBY/25SE52/PAPUA NEW GUINEA' cds, the letter headed "Dept of Treasury" & signed for the Chief Postmaster. minor blemishes. [A most irregular external usage. Probably sent by the addressee in lieu of a pre-paid reply envelope. However, it is tantalising to speculate that TPNG obtained an emergency supply from Fiji]
Aerogrammes: c.1955 stampless formular type with 'AEROGRAMME/FIJI' heading, unused. Unlisted by Duberal and confirmed by him as a new discovery. [Appears to be identical to the 1955 Official Aerogramme (Duberal Fig 6.16) except for omission of the 'O.H.M.S.' text]
Aerogrammes: c.1955 stampless formular type with 'AEROGRAMME/FIJI' heading, to NSW with KGVI 1d & 1˝d x2 tied by Suva cds of 13SP55. Unlisted by Duberal.
Aerogrammes: 1969 8c Outrigger Canoe with Dramatic Downwards Misplacement of the void areas over which the stamp & airmail indicium were to be printed, minor blemishes, unused. An unusual error.
Aerogrammes: Official Issues comprising 'OHMS/AEROGRAMME/FIJI' for Central Archives to Australia in 1955 with KGVI 3d, another from a different printing for Central Medical School to USA with Paid cds in red; 'ON HER MAJESTYS SERVICE/COLONY OF FIJI' to NZ in 1963 with 'SENIOR POSTMASTER' h/s and 1964 with 'CHIEF POSTMASTER' h/s; '.../GOVERNMENT OF FIJI' for Posts & Telegraphs, unused; and Croxley 'O.H.M.S.' for Energy & Mineral Resources, unused. A very scarce group. (Qty 6)
Frank Stamps: Annotated specialised collection of printed Government Printer franks on Gazette wrappers or pieces including printed (with a very early use of -/12/1884) & hand-written addresses with a few going abroad, and two later circular types on wrappers, also one to GB with 1d affixed over the frank, and two with the frank omitted & stamp affixed.
