1915 'G.R.I./3d.' on Registration Labels 'Kieta/(Deutsch-Neuguinea)' SG 38, unusually well centred, unused, Cat £375.
1915 'G.R.I./3d.' on Registration Labels Sans Serif 'Manus/(Deutsch Neuguinea)' SG 39 block of 4, a few split perfs that are quite inconsequential, large-part o.g. & the lower units apparently unmounted, Cat £800. BPA Certificate (1958).
1914 (Sep) registered cover from Switzerland to "British Post Office/Stephansort/Deutsch Neu Guinea/Polynesia" (!), attractive 4-colour franking tied by 'SIGRISWIL/ + ' cds, black/white registration label, Sydney transit b/s of 16NO14, ironed-out vertical fold & minor blemishes.
1914 (Nov) cover from Sweden endorsed "Via England-New York-San Francisco-Sydney" to "The Australian Governor/Friedrich Wilhelmshafen/New Guinéa" with 10ö pair & Stockholm cds, Australian 'PASSED' h/s in violet, opened a little roughly & repaired with archival tape. Remerkable origin/destination mail. [With the letter, requesting a PPC of the town signed by the "Governor", & advising he has collected 409 such items from around the world!]
