WWII Military Postal Cards five-frame exhibit offered intact of Southern Zone usages comprising Star x18, Characters x26, Dove & Helmet x38 and Pictorial x38 types, also Airmail Star x27, Characters (Obliterated) x2 & Naval type with Anchor, and two reply cards from Japan to Sumatra or Malaya, wide variety in the printings, shades & colours and stocks used, including a number of very elusive provisional types, condition variable but many (most?) are fine to very fine and all are used.
It is often difficult to be clear about where these cards originated: included are two from "North Australia", which can't be correct. They are presumably from the Dutch Indies or New Guinea, both of which are north of Australia. Others identified as from Ambon, Burma x12, Indo-China x6 (including two with Cambodian scenes), Java x13, Malaya x25 (including three British-era PPCs with captions obliterated), New Guinea/Solomons x7, North Borneo x2 (very rare, one a scenic type), Philippines x18, Sumatra x16 and Thailand x8 (four identified as from the Death Railway).
