Bundle of old auction lots - some from the 1960s! - with many better stamps including 3d mauve x15 (two unused), 8d orange x2, 8d brown/pink Wmk '10' mint, 10d grey x3 and 5/- red & blue unused, also 2d Wmk '2' part-reconstruction of 94/120 positions & Atkinson "master group" of 30, condition variable but generally fine to very fine.
Single volume collection of shades & watermarks including Emergency Printings, with better stamps including 8d orange x3, 10d grey x5, 5/- red & blue x10 & ½d on 1d x13 including two unused, etc, also Woodblock 2/- blue/green x57 including three pairs, condition variable but generally fine to very fine.
Stockbook of values to 4d with printings/shades & watermarks identified, 3d mauve x9 (Wmk V/Crown x4, '8' x3 & '1' x2) and 3d yellow/orange x28 (3 apparently unused), noted a few mint including 2d 6d & ½d on 1d x2, condition variable but generally fine to very fine.

SIX PENCE: 1867-70 Emergency Printings on Saunders Paper with 'THREE/PENCE' or 'FOUR/PENCE' Watermarks SG 165 & 166 (stated to be the earliest recorded usage on cover) tied by Melbourne duplexes to covers to Launceston. Very scarce frankings. Ex Rodney Perry.
