With extract from the "Manwood" catalogue addressing ambiguities in the rates]
1853 outer to Scotland "pHarbinger Steamer" with very fine Laureate 3d yellow-green SG 67 (margins just touching - at base - to good) tied by an unusually fine bars cancel of Sydney (b/s).
1853 small cover to Scotland with excellent franking of Imperf Laureates 1d (3 margins, abrasion at lower-left) & 2d grey-blue pair (margins at places) tied by BN '11' (Nibbs rated RRR) of 'CANOWINDRA' (large-part oval b/s) & bars cancel of Sydney (b/s).

1854 (c.) large-part undated outer to Sydney "per Shamrock" with exceptional franking of Imperf Laureate 1d orange-vermilion very fine horizontal strip of 4 (margins just touching - at upper-left - to large) tied by 'NSW' "piecrust" cancels, ironed-out horizontal fold. Ex Shenfield, Seybold & "Manwood" (1995; realised $US6000). RPSofL Certificate (1995) states "stamps removed from cover and replaced", but this is of no significance.
1854 envelope to Scotland "pr Antelope via Melbourne" with extraordinary franking of Imperf Laureates Plate III 2d Prussian blue x9 singles (mostly with full margins) tied by bars cancels of Sydney (b/s), very fine "tombstone" 'PAID/LIVERPOOL/SHIP/...' transit d/s in red on the face, Scottish boxed transit & 'AYR' arrival b/s, small fault at upper-left where folded to improve the overall appearance. Wow! Now for the bad news: the upper-left portion of the cover - presumably with other stamps - has been excised. Still, when folded as shown here, it presents as being only slightly reduced at left and otherwise of fine appearance. Ex Consul Weinberger & "Manwood" (1995; realised $US4675]
