Folio of covers to a property at Binda with lots of Goulburn & Sydney duplexes, some advertising content including 1879 for The Goulburn Herald, Mutual Life Association x2 different, 1910 with 'WC' perfin of Winchcombe Carson, a few official items, some CofA frankings including 1d Roo punctured Small 'OS' on postcard & Penny Engraved, condition a bit mixed.
1840 mission outer to London with light but very fine rounded-boxed 'PARRAMATTA/POST PAID' h/s in red & very fine oval 'PARRAMATTA/[crown]/OC*7/1840/NEW.S.WALES' b/s, Sydney transits & London arrival backstamp of 18FE18/1841 in red.
1846 (Aug 19) part-entire to Ireland "Per Margaret" with fine strikes of the boxed 'PARRAMATTA/POST PAID' h/s in red & oval 'PARRAMATTA' b/s in blue, 'POST PAID SHIP LETTER/SYDNEY' d/s on the face, British b/s of 20DE20/1846 in red plus Dublin (?) transit of DE22/1846 & 'COTTENHILL' arrival b/s in blue, a few faults.
1848 entire headed "Bangalore Gap October 27th 48" & signed "John M Canley", to Sydney with very fine rounded-boxed 'GOULBURN/POST PAID' h/s & faint Goulburn b/s, rated "10d" in red, some internal reinforcing.

1851 Evans Correspondence entire with Sydney Views Plate V 2d ultramarine SG 36 (a superb example with large even margins & outer framelines except at the top) just tied by light BN '48' of 'TARCUTTA' (superb crowned-oval b/s), light Albury arrival b/s. Of very fresh & exceptional appearance. Ex 'Besancon' (III). BPA Certificate (2019).
1854 entire to Scotland "p Croesus with Laureates 3d (2½ margins) tied by bold bars cancel, unframed 'SYDNEY/ SR*1/1854/NSW' cds (ERD; odd 'SR' date slug), London transit b/s of 15DE15/1854 in red & rated "8" for an inwards ship letter; and 1857 (Jan 21) outer to London per Oneida (no endorsement) with Diadems Imperf 6d greenish grey (full margins, close at left) similarly cancelled, London arrival cds of 9MY9/1857 in red; minor problems.
1860 cover to England with scarce franking of Diadems 6d fawn with Error of Watermark '8' SG 93a horizontal pair (no margins but attractive) just tied by Rays '90' of 'GRAFTON' (b/s), 'SYDNEY/AP6/1860=NSW=/ B ' transit & 'LEICESTER' arrival b/s, minor wrinkling.
1867 (Mar 28) cover to Wiltshire "via Panama" with Diadem 6d purple tied by Sydney duplex, London transit of 27MY67 & '1D' h/s both in red on the face & 'CRICKLADE' arrival b/s, the stamp a bit soiled. Carried ex Sydney per 'Rakaia' 1.4.1867, arrived Panama 4.5.1867; ex Colon per 'Tamar' 6.5.1867; ex St Thomas per 'Douro' 14.5.1867, arrived Southampton 26.5.1867. The via Panama service operated 1866-69 only.
The enclosed letter headed "Sydney Infirmary/March 27 1867" & signed "John M Creed" states "...appointed surgeon to the South Australian Northern Territory Exploration Expedition...We are going to find a site for a new settlement on the North Coast of Australia...I am going amongst a lot of people who have never seen a white man yet and who are reputed to be cannibals..." [Dr John Mildred Creed, as part of Captain Francis Cadell's party, explored the west coast of the Gulf of Carpentaria & as far west as Port Darwin. Elected to the NSW Legislative Council in 1885, he was an ardent social reformer and opponent of the White Australia Policy]
1867 folded outer to London endorsed "Via Marseilles" with 1d red x4 & Diadems 6d tied by four strikes of Rays '324' (type 2R34; rated RRR) with 'LAGGAN/AU6/1867/NSW' despatch cds (type 1A; ERD) on back, 'GOULBURN' & Sydney b/s also and 'LONDON/F/PAID/A/14OC67' d/s in red on face, couple of minor blemishes. Laggan PO 1.1.1861; closed 14.11.1986.
1876 linen-lined cover to "Altona/near Hamburg/Germany" with DLR 1d dull red & Diadems 8d bright yellow tied by Rays '55' of 'NEWCASTLE' (b/s), endorsed "via Torres Strait" but firstly sent south to Sydney (b/s), P.D.' h/s in red (applied where?) & part-'ALTONA' arrival b/s, minor opening fault at left.
1881 cover endorsed "From W Gibbs Seaman HM Ship Carysfort Flying/squadron Sidney New South Wales Australia" & countersigned "GTL" (Lieut Gerald T Langley), to London with British 1d Venetian red tied by 'FB'-in-bars of the London Foreign Branch, boxed 'LONDON EC/SP6/81' & 'LONDON SE/ AD /SP7/81' b/s both in red. Ex Gerald Sattin and Gerald Ellott. [The Flying Squadron was on a flag-waving world tour: two grandsons of Queen Victoria were along for the ride. This was one of the earliest, and least-known, Royal Visits to Australia]
1898 tiny parcel tag to Fiji with 1d pair & 3d tied to reverse by 'REGISTERED/SYDNEY NSW' cds. Rare & delightful! [Probably sent at the Merchandise, Patterns & Samples rate of 1d per 2oz x2 + 3d registration]
1900 homemade wrapper to "JP McGlinn/Adjutant & Quartermaster/New South Wales/Mounted Infantry HQ/South Africa" with 1d Arms - creased - tied by 'NEWCASTLE/DE19/00/NSW' cds, minor blemishes. Inwards mail to Boer War troops is very scarce.
1903 (July 31) cover to New York with Jubilee 2½d indigo tied by 'Z'-in-bars with very fine 'NZ MARINE PO/RMS SIERRA' cds in blue alongside, New York arrival b/s of AUG21/1903, minor blemishes.
ENVELOPES - OFFICIAL: OHMS 1d violet with the stamp Barred-Out in Black used in 1896 with 1d adhesive tied by 'BALMAIN - 179' duplex, flap fault.
