ONE PENNY: 1d reddish rose SG 3, margins close to good, neat bars cancel of Sydney, Cat £425.
ONE PENNY: Hard Bluish Paper 1d pale red SG 5 & 1d dull lake SG 6, both with margins close to good, light BN '62' of Morpeth or poor '109' (?) of Gulligal, Cat £875.

TWO PENCE: Plate I (Vertical Lined Background) Early Impressions 2d deep blue SG 16, margins good to large with outer framelines at left & base, fine BN '56' (rated RRRR) of Hexham, Cat £550. Superb!
TWO PENCE: Later Impressions 2d greyish blue SG 17, margins just clear to large with outer framelines at left & base, heavy ironed-out horizontal crease, unused, Cat £4000. With RPSofV Certificate (2011).
TWO PENCE: 2d greyish blue SG 17 block of 4, margins just touched - at upper-left - to large with outer framelines in places, small tear between the lower units & very minor thin spot at the top, bars cancels of Sydney, Cat £680++. A very rare multiple. [Our vendor states that only one other SG 17 used block of 4 has been recorded. That is a superb item with sheet margins at top & base - Ex Caspary, Boker, Manwood & Rivett-Carnac - which sold for £28,200 at auction in 2004]
