1929 real photo cards of the "Cape Don Disaster" 1) the Vickers "Velore" from behind; 2) aborigines & the plane missing its propellor & housing; and 3) the plane's engine on a railway bogey, presumably in Darwin, Jack Buscall handstamp on the address side, unused. [The AAMC states the plane, en route from England, crashed at Cape Don & was wrecked. Cape Don is on the Cobourg Peninsula in the far north of the Territory. The lighthouse there is the most northerly in Australia] (Qty 3)
