1865 cover front with part-flap to England, Chalons 6d brown single & pair cancelled with manuscript "G/X", endorsed "Registered" & with light 'REGISTERED' h/s applied in transit presumably at Wellington (part b/s of NO7/1865, which may help identify the origin), minor faults.
1892-1930 registered mail including 1892 with boxed 'REGISTERED/AT/NEW PLYMOUTH' h/s, 1899 usage of 3d Registration Envelope to GB with 2d + Pictorials ½d pair, 1899 philatelic to Canada with 3d 6d & Imperf Stamp Duty 1d, 1899 to Canada with Pictorials ½d & 5d, 1902 to USA with Pictorials ½d 2d & 3d tied by 'GRANITY' cds, 1930 with 'GREEN ISLAND' cds & st-line h/s on registration label, etc, condition variable. 1896 registered cover with 1d pink x5 tied by 'SPRINGFIELD' cds, the reverse with all-over box adverts for six Springfield merchants including for tea, and for stagecoach services, a couple of very minor blemishes.
1932 commercial usage of Patea tourism envelope with photos of surf-lifesaving carnival & pleasure boat, also promoting "Safe/Surfing", minor blemishes. Very early surfing item.
World War II attractive group in quality cover album with mail to & from Forces Abroad, surface & airmail covers to Red Cross in Switzerland, 1941 to "His Majesty's Thai Minister" in Washington etc, also five unused humorous PPCs. Nice lot. (Qty 41)
