The stamps were immediately withdrawn & redesigned. However, some were released "in error". According to our sources, the original M/Ss had been inadvertently distributed by the printers, Enschedé in the Netherlands, to their staff after the recall was announced. Examples sold at the Prestige auctions of 9.2.2008 & 30.3.2012 for $2415 & $1840 respectively]
