1900s-50s balance including 1909 postcard from USA with 1d Due, 1934 Faith in Australia flight 'boomerang' cover, 1936 First Air Mail from Motueka with 1d Dues pair, Australia 1954 airmail to Christchurch taxed with KGVI 3d affixed for postage due, group of PPCs noted a few with TPO cancels plus range on loose stamps, etc, condition generally fine.

1873 mourning cover with Chalon 1d brown x2 struck with fine '032' cancels & very fine 'NZ/KAWARAU/SP16/73' cds alongside (Wooders rated 7), to "Moke Creek PO/Wakatipu", large-part 'QUEENSTOWN' transit cds on the face, minor soiling & part of the flap missing. A rare domestic cover between two inland settlements on the South Island. Kawarau (Otago) renamed from Kawarau Junction 1.11.1864; renamed Cromwell 21.10.1873. [Alluvial goldmining. Kawarau also claims to be the world's first commercial bungy jumping centre. Moke Creek is known for gold & copper mining]

1954 formular 'AIR LETTER FORM' to England with 8d Coronation tied Palmerston North '11MAR/1954' slogan cancel, fine boxed 'SALVAGED MAIL/AIRCRAFT CRASH/SINGAPORE 13.3.1954' h/s in red, charred at the edges. Scarce on an Aerogramme. [Carried on the ill-fated BOAC Constellation which crashed into a seawall attempting to land at Kallang Airport on 13.3.1954 and caught fire: 33 of the 40 passengers and crew were killed.
POSTAL CARDS: 1876 1d brown with printed notice on the reverse '...a specimen of the New Zealand Post Card, which will be brought into use in this Colony on the 1st of November next/...20th October 1876', minor blemishes mostly on the address panel.
POSTAL CARDS: KEVII ½d die proof on thin glazed card reduced to 40x45mm. Used only for Postal Cards.
