PENNY HALFPENNY 1924 1d green + No 'POSTAGE' d orange Menuz #42 window envelope for Berlei Ltd with slogan 'AUSTRALIAN ENTERPRISE COUNTS ON AUSTRALIAN SUPPORT' at the base, opened a bit roughly & with 55mm closed tear at top that does not intrude on the embossings, Cat $US1500. [The No 'POSTAGE' d die was used in error. Apart from this emission, for this user, the d orange without 'POSTAGE' is unrecorded. It cannot exist as a solo embossing]

TWO PENCE 1925 'POSTAGE' 2d brown Menuz #37 for GA Drake used at Melbourne in 1926, sticker placed across imprint at base either because the firm's address had changed or becuase the envelope was used privately, Cat $US1250. Ex Fawcett & Sinfield. [6,174 printed - only 292 for GA Drake. Menuz's price suggests this is only a moderately rare item. However, it is the only example known to us]
