Collector's bundle from Queensland including 1867 cross-written entire headed "Camp XV Canarga [?] Creek"; South Australia including 1860 lady's envelope with 6d, 1880 very fine with '8 PENCE' on 9d, 1901 OPSO with 2d 'O.S ' No Stop; Western Australia including 1888 with Fremantle duplex, 1899 with 2½d & 3d tied by oval cancel in red, 1911 with small boxed 'DLO Perth' datestamp in violet; etc, also a couple of philatelic covers with combination frankings, mixed condition. Mostly registered mail group with the best items being Registration Envelopes from Queensland (to GB in 1912) & from Western Australia x3 different (two used internally, the other to London) etc, generally fine but some have been opened-out. (Qty 20 items)
Scraps with the best item Victoria 1882 to "Granya/near Bungill/Upper Murray" with 5 different NE Victoria backstamps, condition variable. (Qty 7)
Queensland covers & Postal Stationery in generally awful condition but with some useful tidbits (50+); bundle of early telegrams (approximately 30); & remainders of Western Australia postmarks on Swans with pickings.
ADVERTISING COVERS: Selection including NSW 1902 for Thomas Hitchen (Oven Builder) sent at double-rate to United States, 1903 for Ocean Accident and Guarantee Corporation to England with 2d x4 and 1903 PTPO 1d envelope for Holdsworth Macpherson & Co (Gun Merchants), South Australia 1903 for Wiese & Varcoe (Bamboo and Wickerwork Furniture) to Germany, condition variable.
