Very disorganised collection on Hagners with lots of pickings especially in the mint material including NSW with an interesting group of 3d Diadems, 1/- Kangaroo very fine Imperf Pair, later blocks of 4 including 6d green, 6d orange, 8d, 9d & 2/6d; Queensland Crown/Q 2d strip of 3, 4d yellow 'PENGE' in pair, 2/- brown corner pair, Perf 9½x12 1d used pair, used 'OS' punctures to 10/-; South Australia Rouletted 1d yellow-green & 9d grey-lilac, good 'O.S.' range to 2/- including 2d 'O S ' with No Stops (used) & Perkins Bacon 4d with large-part o.g.; Tasmania Courier 4d with 'H & JC Best' Imprint & strip of 3 (all used, almost full margins), Sideface 3d with Chisel Flaw & 10d strip of 4 with Plate Number '4', Pictorials ½d Punctured Double 'OS' x4, 9d Mixed Perfs Pair, postally used 'REVENUE' Overprints 1d & 3d blocks of 4; Victoria with a few very fine used Classics, Stamp Duty £1/10/- CTO, lots of mostly used 'OS' punctures to 5/-; and Western Australia 1880 New Colours 1d & 2d blocks of 4, later to 5/-, some used including 'Medical' Handstamp on 2d & 3d; etc etc, condition rather mixed but those mentioned are generally fine to very fine. Loads of potential.

Prestamp/stampless entires comprising 1842 England-Port Phillip District with largely fine strike 'MELBOURNE/ NEW.S.WALES' arrival b/s; 1844 SA-VDL with huge Adelaide GPO b/s; 1844 GB to "Strath Albyn/River Angas/South Australia"; 1847 Scotland to "Portland Bay/Australia Felix" with 'MELBOURNE/PORT PHILLIP' transit & 'PORTLAND/ NEW.S.WALES' arrival b/s; condition rather mixed but presentable.
Shoebox of covers & PPCs with a few earlier items, unusual frankings & some postmark interest, strength in NSW including 1851 to Jamberoo with Sydney View 2d (full margins, the cover stained) & a good range of Official mail, Queensland including 1875 wrapper with 1d, & Victoria, some attractive advertising covers & a few useful Postal Stationery items, condition variable.
Hand-illustrated cover fronts from the famous Pennefather Archive from NSW 1880s x3, one a long cover from a different source with beautiful penmanship but in poor condition; and Victoria 1880s x4, three of them from 'GOORAMGONG', and an unrelated 1902 cover from 'REDESDALE JUNCTN' which, most unusually for illustrated covers, has been registered; rather mixed condition but the last is very fine.
Pre-UPU inwards mail from Canada comprising three covers endorsed "via San Francisco" 1) 1883 to "Post Office Melbourne//To be kept until called for" with Small Queens 3c x5 (slightly oxidised) tied Halifax, NS duplex; 2) 1887 to Victoria with Small Queens 5c & 10c tied Brantford, Ont duplex; 3) 1887 to "Sidney' [sic] with Small Queens 5c x3 tied target obliterators and 'BLOOMFIELD/ONT' cds alongside; also 4) 1894 UPU-rate to "Dr Macarthy, Dean of Melbourne" with Small Queens 5c and 5) 1934 to NSW with KGV 3c and 'C.P.S./SYDNEY' cds in red & 'UNCLAIMED/SYDNEY' cds in black on face, a few minor blemishes but generally fine.
Album all Colonies arranged on dealer's stock cards priced and numbered by Scott numbers. Some condition issues and not all are as described but potential here with careful checking. Stated retail value of US$18,000+

POSTAL STATIONERY: Range from all Colonies/States, mostly pedestrian but better items include South Australian Registration Envelope (minor toning), Queensland Letter Cards, Tasmanian Letter Card 'GREAT LAKE...' (superb) & STO Envelopes, Victoria Fleet cards, etc, condition variable & most of the Reply Cards have been 'jiggered'.
POSTAL STATIONERY: Railways & Tramways group comprising Queensland 1d Postal Cards with views 'South Brisbane and Coal Wharves' unused, 'On The North Coast Railway Line' unused, 'Charleville S and W Railway' x2 used & 'Corner Queen and Edward Streets Brisbane' x2 used (one a 1911 Commonwealth issue with scarce 'CHARTERS TOWERS' machine cancel); South Australia 1d Postal Card 'VIEW/OF/SOUTHERN RAILWAY' very fine unused; Victoria 1d Fleet Card unused plus 1d Letter Card illustrated x11 unused & x4 used with minor varieties annotated, condition variable.
