Accumulation with 1880s cabinet cards x5 including two G Bridle photos of a rural township (Illawarra NSW region ?), NSW 'School of Arts' real photo card postally used 1910 endorsed Germanton, Mildura Vic Rose Series x 6 including 'Pleasure Steamer Avoca' & 'Irrigated Vineyard', lots of moderns many postally used including inwards airmails to Australia from Yugoslavia (1954) & Pakistan (1955), etc. Also bundle of 1970s National Bank calendars with Australian views including by ST Gill etc, 1860s The Sunday At Home 'A Family Magazine for Sabbath Reading' bound volume (cover missing), swap cards, etc.

Artists group comprising Maisie Carte Patriotic x3 'We don't want to lose you ...', 'My Favourite March' & 'Something Doing' wounded birds, Ida Rentoul Outhwaite 'Fairy' cards x8 including 'The Fairy Bridget and the Kookaburra', and May Gibbs 'Gumnut Babies' Sports x3 Surfing on Leaf, Tennis with Spiderweb Net & Football kicking Gumnut and Patriotic x3, a few with minor blemishes but mostly very fine.
ADVERTISING: Alcohol group including Burgoyne's Australian Wines multi-colour advertising card plus real photo view of Mount Ophir, Rutherglen Winery x7, '"Old Smuggler" Bottle/Gaelic Whisky/The Spirit of Australia' with Map, 'Cascade Ale/Better Than/Best British', 'Begg's Is The Best Whisky' advertisment based on playing cards, 'Ainslie Whisky' pencil rub cards published by Stewart Black Novelty Print (one for the 1924 visit of the British Fleet to Sydney), Sydney x3, also some British cards noted 'Black & White' Whisky x2 one with 'Polo Game' view and Bottle illustration on address side used 1905 from Forbes, NSW, 'John Haig' gunslinger advert, etc, generally fine to very fine. ADVERTISING: 1905 Swallow & Ariell's postcard with full-colour illustration (lemon squash bottle) on address side & JA Turner painting on view side, local usage to "Ballarat Dairy" requesting an order, couple of minor blemishes.
ADVERTISING: 1905 postcard-size Bendigo Tramways 'Souvenir/Tram/Ticket/RAILWAY/PICNIC/Sept 16th/1905' with vignette views of Tramcar, PowerHouse, Engine Room & Boiler Room, illustrated advert on back for Henderson & Goodisson Homewares, for travel from Bendigo Cemetery to Eaglehawk & validated with punch-hole at base, later posted Brighton-Goornong, a couple of minor blemishes. [Much scarcer than the similar Ballarat card]
ADVERTISING: 1930s Radio Station promotional issues including 'ABC Wireless Symphony Orchestra' real photo, 2UW's 'Mrs 'arris & Mrs 'iggs' with the compliments of Tooheys, 3UZ's 'Mrs 'olmes & Mrs Hentwhistle' (stain), 3LO x2, 5WS 'Uncle Vic' and 5DN Autograph card signed 'Uncle Bert' among others, 7ZL Donkey 'Co-operation' plus two 'Dad & Dave' program cards one advertising 'Wrigley's, makers of PK ...' (blank back), condition variable but generally fine. It seems that if you weren't a "Mrs", a "Dad" or an "Uncle" you didn't get on air!
ADVERTISING: 1930 Burns, Philp & Co Limited (Fremantle) advice card with full-colour illustrations of 'Dog's Head', 'Bass's Austral Ale' & 'Guiness Stout' beer bottles on view side, local usage with Perth slogan cancel. One of the most eye-catching alcohol advertising items we have seen.
ADVERTISING: Group with 'Referee Australian Tobacco' advertising on comic cards x6, on glamour cards x3 and on Queensland views x3 'New Fire Station, Brisbane', 'Railway Station, Brisbane' & 'Cowley Falls NQ', also WD & HO Wills 'Capstan Navy Cut Tobacco & Cigarettes' artist vignette card (undivided back), 'Three Castles Cigarettes' overprint on glamour card, 'Champion Tobacco' x2 including Flag patriotic for gratuitous distribution, etc, generally fine to very fine.

AMERICAN FLEET VISIT 1908: Group including Sydney 'Adam's Marble Bar' with Yankee Fleet poem on address side used 'SP4/08' (some blemishes), then unused noted Wellman & Co, St.Kilda (Vic) 'People of the Southern Cross' ships & flags, 'Australia Welcomes The Fleets' card With Compliments From Tye & Co (pin holes), vertical format 'Australia Greets America' Kangaroo & Uncle Sam vignette view & 'Admiral Sperry' small portrait, etc, unused except the first, condition variable but mostly very fine.
AVIATION: 1910 (c.) Donald Taylor Collotype (Adelaide) 'Souvenir of Balloon Ascent' advertising card for Arab Self-Raising Flour & Viceroy Tea showing large balloon above Adelaide park filled with onlookers, couple of very minor marks, unused.
AVIATION: 1914 AB 'Wizard' Stone card headed 'AUSTRALIA'S/FIRST AERIAL MAIL' for proposed Melbourne-Sydney flight which did not take place due to the plane crashing & injuring Stone, carried by rail instead with Kangaroo 1d tied Sydney 'AUG24/1914' roller cancel on arrival, message reads "Hope the Stone will have sufficient impetus to carry this to you", minor toning, AAMC Cat $800.

AVIATION: 1920 real photo card showing Ross & Keith Smith's Vickers Vimy bi-plane at Sydney's Mascot Aerodrome with crowd of onlookers endorsed on back "...taken on the day he left for Melbourne", fine condition (scratch at U/R is on the negative), also 'Anglo-Australian Flight' real photo card of the two brothers plus W Watson Boyes card with poem calling for a Lighthouse-type monument to be erected for them, unused, the latter two with minor blemishes.
ENTERTAINMENT: Group including 'Charles Chaplin' x2 with 'Armadale Theatre' & 'Lyric & Empire Theatres, Brunswick' advertising printed on back respectively, two Tasmanian real photo cards of Yello Cab "Boat" on river & Policemen in black-face, batch featuring Melbourne chorus girl Pansy Montague with a number signed with her stage name "La Milo", Paramount Pictures Leading Ladies x4 three with printed advertising on back for Queensland theatres and the other 'Souvenir of the Brisbane Exhibition 1920', Chips Rafferty autographed head-shot (blank back), etc, condition mixed but many fine.
NED KELLY GANG: Colonial Picture Combine 'Sticking Up Younghusband's Station' from The Story of the Kelly Gang advertising card plus five more images including 'Capture of Ned Kelly', 'Death of Dan Kelly & Steve Hart' & 'Sticking Up the Euroa Bank' from an unidentified publisher, also Regal 'Steve Hart, Dan Kelly, Ned Kelly' on horseback captioned "from an original photograph", some with a few blemishes.
