A very rare block, being the largest multiple recorded". [A note with this striking item, states it originated with the family of the then postmaster at Lae]

1960 (March) 6d on 7d with the Overprint Double SG D4a, some very minor toning as is usually found on this stamp, unmounted, Cat 1200. Chris Ceremuga Certificate (2002) states "Only two sheets of 36 believed printed", but in our experience this is much scarcer than SG D3a. [John McNabb's superb example sold for $1380 at the Prestige auction of 12/10/2012]
