Bahrain: 1942 usage to India of 'BAHRAIN' 3a+1a3p KGVI size H Registration Envelope with very fine 'BAHRAIN/15JAN42' cds & blue/white registration label, 'C19' Censor h/s & superb 'PURANDHAR' arrival b/s, a few very minor blemishes. A rarity. [This is the item noted by Terry Jones as the earliest recorded usage, but he incorrectly notes the destination as Poona. Jones records only 6 examples, this being the only "internal" item, and thus the only example not uprated]
