Carton with six albums devoted to Scouting subjects including "Cinderellas", flight covers including Antarctic flights, promotional labels, magazine wrappers, exhibition covers, tickets etc, one album devoted to franking machine imprints including some scarce examples on cover. JAMBOREES: 1934 Australian Jamboree Frankston group including the Jamboree cloth badge in superb condition & two different adhesive labels, Victoria Centenary sheet of 20 labels including 4 Jamboree subjects (no gum & a few faults) & vertical strip just of those subjects Imperforate at the Sides unused (possibly from a proof sheet?), Jamboree registration label x2 (one used later with mss "Burleigh") & registration receipt with Jamboree cds WWW #30 (rated RRR), four different Jamboree PPCs all unused, 'HIKE/MAIL' label on cover from 'POWELLTOWN' (toning), superb example of the King's message with Baden Powell's facsimile signature, etc. A terrific lot. JAMBOREES: illustrated Jamboree cover (179x129mm) to NSW with 2d Vic Centenary tied by largely very fine strike of the 'AUST JAMBOREE FRANKSTON/1JA35/VIC.' cds with time (WWW #10; rated RR), minor blemishes. Ex Gary Watson: acquired for $577 at the Macray Watson auction of 12/11/1996. [The illustrator was the Jamboree Quartermaster Charles Homer Fraser. The cover was intended for his six illustrations of life at the Jamboree: see Lot 40]
JAMBOREES: registered cover to Red Cliffs with Macarthur 2d & 3d tied by two good to fine strikes of the 'AUST JAMBOREE FRANKSTON/1JA35/VIC.' cds (arcs 2,1 WWW #30; rated RRR) with another superb strike on the reverse, 'Australian Jamboree/Frankston Victoria' registration label, light vertical fold. [Gary Watson's registered cover sold for $1265 at the Macray Watson auction of 12/11/1996]
JAMBOREES: registered cover to Ireland with Vic Centenary 2d & 3d tied by two very fine to superb strikes of the 'AUST JAMBOREE FRANKSTON/5JA35/VIC.' cds (arcs 1,1˝ WWW #20; rated RRR) & 'Australian Jamboree/Frankston Victoria' registration label, Irish arrival b/s, minor stain on the reverse. [This & the previous lot are the first registered covers we have offered for many years.]

JAMBOREES: 1952 Pan-Pacific Jamboree Greystanes collection with 3˝d maroon three blocks of 4 affected by a thread having adhered to the sheet, Jamboree Opening Day cover & aerial photograph of the opening ceremony, Jamboree cloth badge, partly-handpainted cover by Eric Ogden, another handpainted with 'GREYSTAINS' error, other covers by Arthur Bergen, Bob Haslem, Rex Bodin & ACM Guthrie etc, Bank of NSW PPC, etc. (Qty 50 items)
JAMBOREES: 3˝d die proof in maroon in sunken card with 'CBA/NOTE PRINTING/BRANCH/("18/20.10.52")' cachet in violet on the reverse, Cat $3500. Superb! A key item for any collection of Scout stamps. [Only 8 such die proofs were prepared, of which two are in institutional collections. #18 was presented to the Governor-General Sir William McKell]
