Registered mail with 1890 'SAVINGS BANK PACKET ONLY' envelope at the 1d concessional rate, 1897 to London with Tablets d x16 tied by superb BN '93' of 'HUONVILLE', 1900 to the USA with scarce albeit philatelic franking of 2d Tablets, 'd./2' on 9d & 3d Platypus, 1905 to Germany with philatelic franking including 'Halfpenny' on 1d x4 (one with 'Halfoenny' variety), and two others, the condition is variable. 1845 1847 & 1851 entires endorsed "Money Letter" all to Launceston with postmasters' endorsements "Port Sorell" (on the reverse), "C Head" of Circular Head or "Geo Town" of George Town. [Tasmania was the only Colony that used the term "Money Letter" instead of "Registered"] (Qty 3)

1869 cover with 'MOLESWORTH JEFFERY' imprint at lower-left, to Kent with a good strike of the sender's 'BOURNBANK/Parish of/Wellington/1865' private handstamp, Chalons 1d x2 & 4d - with trimmed perfs - tied by BN '63' of New Norfolk, very fine strike of the 2-line 'N NORFOLK/6 9 69' handstamp alongside, superb 'TUNBRIDGE-WELLS' arrival b/s. 1896 OPSO cover with Post & Telegraph imprint at lower-left & part GPO Frank h/s in rosine, registered to England with Chalon 6d dull claret SG 143 tied by Hobart duplex, octagonal 'REGISTERED/HOBART' h/s in blue. Ex Hans Karman: acquired for $1150 at auction in 2004. The combination of registration of a franked cover with payment of the overseas postage & registration fee (overpaid d), makes this a highly desirable item.
