1851 stampless entire from GB with 'HULL/DE18/1851' cds in blue & 'SHIP-LETTER/[crown]/DE19/1851/ =LONDON=' cds in red, Tasmanian boxed 'SHIPLETTER/21MA21/1852' transit b/s & very fine boxed 'CAMP TOWN/23 Mar 52' arrival datestamp on thye face. [The lengthy letter states "...the Great Exhibition...gave us the opportunity of seeing many of your productions...it was an altogether most interesting affair, it went off uncommonly well..."]
1901 stampless OAS cover endorsed "From ROW/No 110 IBC/SA" (= Imperial Bushmen's Corps in South Africa) with British 'ARMY PO 55/JA17/01/S,AFRICA' cds, Launceston transit & Dunorlan arrival b/s both of FE15/01, minor opening faults & vertical fold.

1903 KEVII Coronation postcard sent locally with 1d Pictorial tied 'LAUNCESTON/JY20/03/PR' cds and fine strike of the rare 'DETAINED FOR/FUMIGATION' h/s alongside, minor blemishes. [In response to a serious smallpox outbreak in the Launceston area, the "Examiner" newspaper advised that all mail, including newspapers, would be fumigated for two hours before despatch]
ENVELOPES: 1883 2d green HG B1 complete pack of 12 with the Post Office band inscribed 'TWELVE/POSTAGE ENVELOPES/Duty Two Pence'. Rare & desirable.
ENVELOPES: STAMPED TO ORDER: 1892 commercial & contemporary usage of 2d+½d to England with 'HALIFAX' redirection & 'KENDALL' (Westmoreland) arrival b/s.
POSTMARKS: 1970s-2000s datestamps on covers mostly airmail to overseas destinations with many single frankings, the occassional registered item, some postal stationery, advertising, taxed mail & postcards, selected for clarity of strikes which are generally well above average including modern rubber types often on International Post issues. Good variety with minimal duplication.
