Pink album chockers with Melbourne Suburbs including Wesley College fund-raising card & "Caulfield Cup 1907" (repaired 10mm tear), many country topographicals, Post Offices, churches, a couple of Jolleys & a few VSM "stamps" cards with inset views, some real photo types etc, noted usages to India & Italy, condition variable but many are fine to very fine. A good lot. Ex "Cartophile".

Batch with better Melbourne streetscapes , "Brighton Carnival Day in Baystreet", "High Str Kew", real photos with "Corio Bay Regatta", 1918 Seymour Floods x2 & 1934 Traralgon Floods x3, then Gippsland with "Walhalla", "Stanlet Street...Toora", Vogt (Bairnsdale) x4 & Howard Bulmer (Bairnsdale) x2, etc, generally fine to very fine. 1899 Jolley (?) "The River Yarra", "Collins Street" (tram), "Spring Street", "Bourke Street" (tram), "Botanical Gardens", "A Selectors Home", comprising a complete six-part letter, all used to Sydney on FE4/99, some minor blemishes. Rare pre-1901 usages.

1900 (c.) chromolitho "Melbourne" with panorama, St Patrick's & St Paul's Cathedrals, unused.
1905 (c.) Progressive Printery "Federal Palace Hotel", unused. Superb! Ex Joe Duif.
1908 usage of 4-panel panorama PPC "The Lawn Flemington" (horse racing) to China with 1d only but not taxed, Hong Kong (b/s) & Shanghai transits & 'PEKING' bilingual arrival b/s, minor reinforcing at the folds.
1908 (c.) S T Gill divided-back artist cards "Victoria in the fifties" - the 1850s - including Ballaarat and Melbourne Post Offices, Market Square Geelong, University of Melbourne, Queens Wharf, paddle steamer on the Yarra etc, condition varied but generally fine to very fine, all but two are unused.
1908 ditto, in embossed frames with most of the same views plus "Princes Bridge" and "St Pauls Church", minor blemishes, unused.
1910 (?) Sears Photo (Melbourne) of the Balloon "King Edward VII. One Mile in the Air", minor blemishes, unused. Ex Bronte Watts.
1916 real photo of Soldiers in Fancy Dress apparently promoting Camp Theatricals, datelined on the back "Wangaratta 22.10.16" & addressed to "...D Campany 8th Battalion" probably at Seymour Military Camp, a trifle aged. Ex Shirley Jones.
1917 Dufty (Sydney) real photo "SS Cumberland ashore at Gabo" plus small inset photo at lower-left, soiling mainly on the address side, unused. Ex Bob Young. [On 5/7/1917, the "Cumberland" was damaged by mines laid by the German Raider "Wolf". Run aground on Gabo Island, the huge hole in her side was repaired but she sank when under tow to Sydney. She was the only ship sunk by the Germans in Victorian waters]
ABORIGINES: 1910 real photo "A Family Group Corranderrk" used at Healesville with message "Some of the patients. I know them". Superb! Ex Shirley Jones. [In 1863, the Victorian Government established a reserve south of Healesville for the local Wurundjeri People. It was closed in 1924 & many of the Aborigines were re-settled at Lake Tyers. However, to this day there is a significant Aboriginal population in the Yarra Valley, south of Healesville]
ABORIGINES: Real photo types "A Family Group", "Group", "Wedding Group" & "Darby" all of Aborigines at Corranderrk , all used at Healesville in 1910.
ADVERTISING: c.1900 Troedel & Co advertising card for Melbourne's Grand Hotel (now the Windsor) with four small illustrations in brown , unused. Very early & rare. Superb!
FIRE SERVICES: Real photo types of Fire Stations at Beechworth, Koroit, Mansfield, Rutherglen (AP Thomas) & Surrey Hills (Valentine), fire lookouts x3 (one is a stereo postcard), also Eastern Hill Fire Station x15, & a few others, generally fine to very fine. Ex Bob Young.
