1850-57 Half-Lengths White Veils 3d greenish blue SG 14b block of 4, margins a little cut-into - at the top - to large with chunks of both adjoining units at right, on small piece with Barred Oval '2' cancels of Geelong, Cat £340++. A rare multiple: only three other blocks of 4 have been recorded.

1863-81 Laureates V/Crown Perf 12 8d red-brown/pink SG 146 with tiny 'SPECIMEN' Handstamp (KTM Type 12a) in Deep Blue, no gum. Illustrated by Kellow Turner & McCredie at page 33, where noted as the only example in private hands. Sold at the Prestige auction of 28.11.2016 for $2160.

1884-96 Large Stamp Duty Typo Wmk '33' 4/- red-oramge SG 269 horizontal strip of 3, full unmounted o.g., Cat £450+ as mounted singles.
1884-1900 Ultra-High Denominations Recess £25 blue-green - small thin spot - & £100 aniline crimson both with 'Specimen.' h/s twice diagonally, and £50 black-violet (a few blemishes) endorsed "Specimen", large-part o.g. Ex Rodney Perry.
1885-95 Naish 4d lilac Error of Colour SG 300b, purple mark on the front & ironed-out crease at U/R corner, unused, Cat £12,000. A rare stamp: only nine unused examples - including two pairs - are recorded.

Ex Colonel Harrie Evans: sold at the Prestige auction of 4.5.2002 for $896. RPSofV Certificate (2001). [One of the finest examples we have seen of this elusive stamp. NB: many stamps offered as the error are faked colour changelings]

1886-96 Fergusson & Mitchell ½d (both) to £9 all the values issued before 1890 plus Large Stamp Duty 2/6d yellow & 4/- red-orange, all with 'Specimen.' h/s, most without gum. A very attractive page.
1897 Silver Jubilee/Charity selection with 1d mint x6, used x4 including a pair & CTO x2, and 2½d mint x2 & used x2, Cat £670+.
1900 No 'POSTAGE' selection on leaves with mint including ½d 'VICTCRIA' in block of 4, 1/- x13, 2/- x19 & 5/- x14, used including 1/- x8, 2/- x2 & 5/- x2 with TO cancels, and CTO including 1/- x3, 2/- x2 & 5/- single & pair, etc, generally very fine. Ex "Chartwell".
1901-10 V/Crown 2d violet plate proof block of 4 on ungummed unwatermarked brown paper, misplaced perfs as always.

POSTAGE DUES: 1905-09 Crown/A 5d dull scarlet & pea-green ACSC #VD38 (SG D38), well centred & of exceptional freshness, large-part o.g., Cat $3000 (£3000). Unissued. [The ACSC states that nine mint & four CTO examples have been recorded]
