LC

A remarkably diverse and partly-annotated array of early entires, outers & enclosures some to or from notable personages including Captain Foster Fyans, Robert Hoddle & Thomas Airey, many from England with others from Victoria to GB and also internal and inter-colonial mail, the condition very mixed and many of far more interest for the contents than the postal history aspects. Ex Ray Kelly, being items additional to his Gold Medal winning Port Phillip exhibit or that were removed from the exhibit as better examples became available. Nonetheless a useful and interesting lot that would provide the basis for expansion or for historical research. [A few items are noted as being Ex Purves]
