Basic collection on stockleaves with some Numerals, Letters-in-Bars including 'GT' in blue (2), then lots of towns on 190-12 period values to 9d. Noted fine to very fine large-part strikes of 'ARGYLE', unframed 'BALINGUP' & 'BULONG', 'BROAD ARROW' in violet, oval 'POST & TELEGRAPH OFFICE/GOONGARRIE WA' in red, 'KURRAWA', 'SAVINGS BANK/PINGELLY', 'PRINCESS ROYAL', 'QUEENS PARK', 'YOUANME' & 'YUNDAMINDERA' etc; also a page of early 1d bistres & 2d yellows. Mundabullangana: 'MUNDABULLANGANA/12FEB12/WESTERN [AUSTRALIA]' (stops at sides & 'M' in line with dateline) superb strike on 3d Swan. RO 16/7/1906; TO 1/5/1919; closed post-1969. The only recorded example. [PMI records a very similar cds, without stops & with 'M' above the dateline, in 1930 only. We note that the frame on this cds is largely missing which was probably the reason for its replacement]
