Eclectic group from South America with some better views & subjects, BWI including St Lucia, Barbados & Bermuda, Spanish Bull Fighting (one with 'Dragling the Bull' error), Greece, etc, condition variable but many are fine to very fine.

Military and patriotic cards in box and Lighthouse album with slipcase, some Boer War period, mostly WWI with some modern reproductions and non-military with Qld 'Mount Morgan Gold Mines', NZ 1907 International Exhibition used, modern advertising cards, plus a few covers including 1928 'Graf Zeppelin' New York to Germany, 1940 'Internment Camp Tatura/POW Canteen' cover, etc, condition mixed. inspection recommended.
ANTARCTICA: Fine Art Society (GB) Capt Scott's South Pole Expedition photos by HG Ponting 'OSMAN' (dog), unused; and Canterbury Times (NZ) 'Sledge Parties Preparing to Start', postally used in 1905.
CEYLON: Attractive bundle with many Platé Art Series cards, 1950s real photo types, several Undivided Backs including Kandy chromolitho with English caption, etc, condition variable but generally fine to very fine.

EGYPT: Bulging album with very little Cairo, Undivided backs including chromolithos, excellent content from Alexandria & Heliopolis including French LLs, ethnic subjects & portraits, monuments & mummies, etc, condition variable but many are fine to very fine. A very good lot.

EGYPT: Another large album with a good number of Undivided Backs, lots of popular subjects including unusual aspects of the Pyramids etc, many better subjects including Railways, Commerce, Festivals & Processions, etc, generally fine to very fine. This & the previous lot would provide an excellent basis for a serious collection.
FIJI: Interesting group of missionary cards including Hussey & Gillingham (Adelaide) types x12, generally fine to very fine (34); also Zieher PPC of Fijian stamps, 1922 registered cover to USA, a couple of WWII items & some very ordinary Postal Cards x18 including 1˝d fine used to Italy in 1901.
FIUME etc: Collection of cards from Fiume, Trieste, Zara, Grado & Rijeka, condition variable but many are fine to very fine (160+). Also a quantity of modern copies of old cards, plus folios of background information, maps, etc. Ex Aldo Paladino.
INDIA: Rotary Photo Co spectacular portraits of the rulers of Bhopal, Bihar (stained on reverse) & Kolhapur, also Norway.
ITALY: 1945 Death of Benito Mussolini four different cards of the execution (one with a blank back; three are real photos & very scarce thus) plus artist cards of his capture & 'FINITO MUSSOLINI', the last with faults.
MALTA: Album with many Undivided Backs & unusual scenes or subjects including several multi-views & a 2-panel panorama, condition variable.

NEW GUINEA: c.1914 'Similar Medicine being served out to the Germans who flogged Rev Mr Cox at Rabaul...', minor faults.
NEW ZEALAND: Real photo group with Rotorua x7 different, Auckland panorama, WWI military hospital, & c.1920 trade card 'Buick Six', also premises of Alwinus Bock (Merchant), 1908 Visit of the American Fleet 'Welcome Arch, foot of Queen Street...', scenic Postal Cards QV 1d brown & 1d green x2, plus some odds 'n' sods.
NEW ZEALAND: Trentham Military Camp (2) real photo WWI PPCs of 'Segregation Camp' (panorama), troops at ease, and two staged group photos, two used under cover; another 'No 5 Platoon B Coy 14th' endorsed on reverse "Taken at Upper Hutt" (a small overflow camp with no postal facilities).
NEW ZEALAND: Artist cards by Horatio Gordon Robley ("GR") three of a Maori warrior with slightly different inscriptions (two for Iles of Rotorua, plus a fourth version used on two different Iles Kodak Store advertising envelopes with a couple of minor repaired tears) and a different horizontal design, all unused; also Frank Duncan (Auckland) real photo of HG Robley's portrait of 'Tomika Te Mutu, Tatooed Maori Chief' initialled "GR", a couple of minor surface defects that are not immediately apparent. A really superb portrait & a wonderful study of moko.
